Useful Life Tips

As I was driving in my car the other day, A song came on the radio, it sounded somewhat familar but not the version I remembered. The song was called “Have you seen her”.

I was racking my brain to remember what version of the song I used to listen to only to find out it was and MC Hammer version.

I was also surprised to find a copy of it on the Internet Archive ! Enjoy[Disclaimer:] I’m assuming if it’s in the Internet archive, it’s okay to link too, but if not I apologize. While every effort is made to comply with copyright laws..sometimes it’s grey and I’m not always sure.
<a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=555><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=555 border="0"/>

It is believed that by recognizing these distortions we can create positive counter statements to help make the situation less subjective, and thereby prevent decreased self-esteem.

These are combined notes from several self-esteem books that may be you may find useful.
<a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=568><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=568 border="0"/>

The Good Luck Story

This video, by Dr. Eldon Taylor, tells one of my favorite stories, much better then I could ever explain it.

I orginally heard the story from another person, but I was glad to have found this youtube video.

It shows us much important our expectations and our perceptions affect our reality.
<a href="http://www.pheedo.com/click.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=743><img src="http://www.pheedo.com/img.phdo?x=ff4c7d657c674ca3b43ceaba5c97eae9&u=743 border="0"/>

From the Nimble Theory Blog
$60K a year can make you happy
Psychologist and Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman says millions of dollars won't buy you happiness, but a job that pays $60,000 a year might help.
Happiness levels increase up to the $60K mark, but "above that it's a flat line," he said.
